Taste the Colors of the Day (Dance-Pop Singalong)

[Intro] Hello, hello, come play today! Food friends are bouncing our way! [Verse 1] A yellow banana goes boing, boing, boing, It wiggles to a happy song. A red strawberry twirls around, Then taps its feet upon the ground. [Pre-Chorus] Point to yellow, point to red, Put a smile upon your head! If you feel excited, clap two times, If you feel silly, wiggle side to side! [Chorus] Jump, wiggle, stomp, hooray! Taste the colors of the day! Round and square, big and small, Happy food friends greet us all! Jump, wiggle, stomp, hooray! Come explore the world today! [Verse 2] A green lime rolls from Mexico, A purple grape says, “Watch me go!” A golden mango, soft and sweet, Does a tiny dancing treat. From Japan comes rice so white, From India, spices warm and bright. Pasta twirls from Italy, Every bite’s a discovery! [Pre-Chorus] Point to green, point to blue, What shape can you find too? If you feel joyful, spin around, If you feel calm, breathe in and out! [Chorus] Jump, wiggle, stomp, hooray! Taste the colors of the day! Round and square, big and small, Happy food friends greet us all! Jump, wiggle, stomp, hooray! Come explore the world today! [Bridge] Triangle toast, circle pear, Square cheese cube sitting there. Red can sparkle, blue can soothe, Orange can make us want to move! Name your feeling, loud and clear: Happy, curious, brave, and cheer! [Movement Break] Jump up high! Jump, jump, jump! Wiggle low! Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle! Stomp your feet! Stomp, stomp, stomp! Freeze like a statue—stop! [Final Chorus] Jump, wiggle, stomp, hooray! Taste the colors of the day! Round and square, big and small, Happy food friends greet us all! Jump, wiggle, stomp, hooray! We made friends around the way! Banana bounce and berry spin, Learning makes our hearts grin! [Outro] Wave goodbye, our food friends bright, See you at the next delight!
