You Lift Me Up Again (Worship Hymn)

[Verse 1] I came in with shaking hands Dust on my broken plans You met me where I fell Pulled me out of the well My voice was barely there Still You heard my prayer When the floor gave way You stayed [Pre-Chorus] And now my heart can breathe Your mercy runs to me Higher than the ache Stronger than the weight [Chorus] You lift me up again You lift me up again When I cannot stand You hold me by the hand You lift me up again You lift me up again I was barely holding on Now I’m singing the song [Verse 2] There’s grace in Your eyes Morning in the skies Every scar I wore You do not name it anymore You take my wasted years Turn them into tears Then turn the tears to praise For all my days [Pre-Chorus] And now my heart can breathe Your mercy runs to me Higher than the ache Stronger than the weight [Chorus] You lift me up again You lift me up again When I cannot stand You hold me by the hand You lift me up again You lift me up again I was barely holding on Now I’m singing the song [Bridge] So I will not forget Every valley bent And every midnight road You carried my soul Now I lift my head To the living bread You are faithful still You always will [Final Chorus] You lift me up again You lift me up again When I cannot stand You hold me by the hand You lift me up again You lift me up again I was barely holding on Now I’m singing the song You lift me up again You lift me up again My hope is found in You My heart sings praise brand new
