You Are Always Near (Worship Ballad)

[Verse 1] When my hands are empty You still know my name When the room goes quiet You are still the same I lay down my questions At the edge of night And I feel Your mercy Folding me in light [Pre-Chorus] So I breathe, and I trust Even when I cannot see You are holding what I’ve lost You are holding me [Chorus] You are always near You are always near When I cannot stand You are always near You are always near My safe place, my prayer [Verse 2] In the dust and bruising You have walked before Every hidden sorrow You have felt much more When my heart is shaking You do not turn away You stay with the broken You stay with the pain [Pre-Chorus] So I breathe, and I trust Even when I cannot see You are holding what I’ve lost You are holding me [Chorus] You are always near You are always near When I cannot stand You are always near You are always near My safe place, my prayer [Bridge] Closer than my own breath Closer than my fear When I call Your holy name I know You are here You are here You are here [Final Chorus] You are always near You are always near When I cannot stand You are always near You are always near My safe place, my prayer You are always near You are always near And I will rest right here
