He Has Risen (Dawn)

[Verse] The stone rolled back the empty tomb so bright A whisper of hope in the veil of night They sought his body but he was gone A new dawn breaks where life marches on [Chorus] He has risen he lives again Breaking darkness to free all men Hope ascends like a morning ray Death defeated love finds its way [Verse 2] Angels cry out in resounding grace Holy light shines upon this place The earth did tremble heavens proclaim Life eternal through His name [Bridge] Oh in silence we once did weep But now our hearts no longer keep The joy that flows like endless streams In His rising we find our dreams [Chorus] He has risen he lives again Breaking darkness to free all men Hope ascends like a morning ray Death defeated love finds its way [Verse 3] The cross now bare the heavy cost Through His sacrifice nothing is lost Redeemed restored forever we’ll sing Hallelujah to the risen King
