Jesus, Son of David, Have Mercy (Gospel Worship)

[Verse 1] By the road to Jericho, I sat in the dust Blind to every color, begging for a crust I heard the crowd was saying Jesus passes by So I lifted up my voice and I began to cry [Chorus] Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me I don't need the crowd's approval, Lord I just want to see Call my name, Lord, touch my eyes Let the light of heaven rise Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me [Verse 2] They told me to be quiet, they told me not to shout But faith was burning in me and it had to come out Then Jesus stopped and turned, and He called me by my name And I have never, ever been the same [Chorus] Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me I don't need the crowd's approval, Lord I just want to see Call my name, Lord, touch my eyes Let the light of heaven rise Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me [Bridge] I once was blind but now I see Your healing hand has set me free I'll follow You along the way My night has turned to day [Chorus] Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me I don't need the crowd's approval, Lord I just want to see Call my name, Lord, touch my eyes Let the light of heaven rise Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me
