Jesus My Anchor (Contemporary Worship)

[Verse 1] When my hands were empty You came with open arms Dust on my sandals And mercy on Your palms I was lost in the valley You knew my name by heart [Pre-Chorus] You stayed when I was shaking You called me out of night You turned my fear to fire You taught my soul to rise [Chorus] Jesus, my anchor Jesus, my stay You hold me steady When I fade away Jesus, my anchor My hope, my song I lean on Your goodness And You carry me on [Verse 2] There were broken doorways And a table set for two You met me in the silence With a grace I never knew Now every scar reminds me Your love still makes me new [Pre-Chorus] You stayed when I was shaking You called me out of night You turned my fear to fire You taught my soul to rise [Chorus] Jesus, my anchor Jesus, my stay You hold me steady When I fade away Jesus, my anchor My hope, my song I lean on Your goodness And You carry me on [Bridge] When the storm comes close I will not let go Your hand is the harbor My restless heart knows Breathe on my aching Speak over the ache I am not abandoned I am Yours today [Chorus] Jesus, my anchor Jesus, my stay You hold me steady When I fade away Jesus, my anchor My hope, my song I lean on Your goodness And You carry me on
