Jesus Hold Me (Contemporary Christian)

[Verse 1] I came in empty-handed Dust on my aching shoes My heart was cracked open But You still saw me through I hid my shame in silence You met me where I fell You spoke my name so gently And broke the dark I knew [Pre-Chorus] And now I’m running to You Nothing left to prove When I call Your name Heaven bends to move [Chorus] Jesus hold me Hold me close Jesus hold me When I’m lost You are mercy You are home Jesus hold me Hold me close [Verse 2] I’ve walked through burning questions I’ve cried where no one knew Still every road that crushed me Led me back to You You take my fear and shame now And trade it for Your peace My heart was made for singing Of the grace that set me free [Pre-Chorus] And now I’m running to You Nothing left to prove When I call Your name Heaven bends to move [Chorus] Jesus hold me Hold me close Jesus hold me When I’m lost You are mercy You are home Jesus hold me Hold me close [Bridge] When the night is heavy And my strength is gone You are still my shelter You are my song When my hands are shaking You remain the same Jesus, I surrender To the power of Your name [Chorus] Jesus hold me Hold me close Jesus hold me When I’m lost You are mercy You are home Jesus hold me Hold me close
