I Tried to Make a Cake (and It Fought Back) (Dawn)

[Verse] I grabbed my bowl and a wooden spoon Whisked up a storm but it wasn't immune Flour flew high like an angry cloud My cake mix roared then it meowed [Verse 2] I added eggs with a shaky hand They cracked themselves like they had a plan Sugar jumped out did a happy dance Caught me off guard took a chance [Chorus] I tried to make a cake but it fought back Flour in my hair like an old wool sack Batter on the ceiling like an abstract art This cake is wild with a rebel heart [Verse 3] Butter slid away like a little snake I called it back for heaven's sake Mixer broke down joined the melee Chaos reigns in my kitchen cafe [Bridge] Sprinkles declared a candy war Chocolate chips hit the floor Frosting jumped from my hands to my face This baking challenge is a wild chase [Chorus] I tried to make a cake but it fought back Flour in my hair like an old wool sack Batter on the ceiling like an abstract art This cake is wild with a rebel heart
