Buried and Raised (Baptism Worship)

[Verse 1] I'm standing in the water with my old life on my back All the years of running and the roads that led me off the track I am going under with the One who took my place I am rising up in newness, I am rising up in grace [Chorus] Buried and raised, buried and raised The old is gone, I'm a brand new day Washed in the water, covered in grace With Jesus I'm buried and raised [Verse 2] Every shame is sinking down beneath the waves today Every chain is broken and the past has washed away I will tell the story of the love that set me free Jesus, I belong to You, and You belong to me [Bridge] Hallelujah, I am new Hallelujah, all because of You Hallelujah, I am new [Chorus] Buried and raised, buried and raised The old is gone, I'm a brand new day Washed in the water, covered in grace With Jesus I'm buried and raised
