He Is Risen, Rejoice! (Ember)

[Verse 1] The stone is rolled the tomb is bare A light breaks forth in morning air The Savior lives no death can bind New hope ignites in heart and mind [Chorus] Rejoice rejoice the grave’s undone The battle’s fought the victory’s won Lift voices high let praises ring He is alive our risen King [Verse 2] The shadow's torn the dawn ascends The endless love that never bends Through darkest nights through stormy skies His grace prevails his mercy flies [Bridge] Oh death where now’s your sting to keep The chains have snapped the soul’s unleashed A world reborn in holy light New life awakes eternal might [Chorus] Rejoice rejoice the grave’s undone The battle’s fought the victory’s won Lift voices high let praises ring He is alive our risen King [Verse 3] The earth resounds in joyful song All sorrow fades where we belong Forevermore his peace will reign In glorious life we rise the same
