He Carried It All for Me (Easter Worship)

[Verse 1] At the edge of the morning light I saw the stone roll wide Empty grave, open sky You turned my shame aside Hands that were pierced for me Held the weight I couldn't bear Every broken part of me Found mercy there [Pre-Chorus] And I was lost Now I am found Your love went down To lift me out [Chorus] He carried it all for me He carried it all for me The cross, the blame, the nail-scarred tree He carried it all for me (He carried it all for me) [Verse 2] I was bound by my own sin Heavy as a winter rain But You stepped into my night And called my name Now the tomb is just a grave And the grave has lost its song What was dead is breathing here Because You were strong [Pre-Chorus] And I was lost Now I am found Your love went down To lift me out [Chorus] He carried it all for me He carried it all for me The cross, the blame, the nail-scarred tree He carried it all for me (He carried it all for me) [Bridge] You stayed when I ran You stood in my place Love wrote my freedom With scars on Your face Death had its day But heaven rose high Jesus, my Savior You brought me life [Final Chorus] He carried it all for me He carried it all for me The cross, the blame, the nail-scarred tree He carried it all for me (He carried it all for me) He carried it all for me He carried it all for me Because You rose, I am set free He carried it all for me (He carried it all for me)
