Draw Me Close Again (Worship Ballad)

[Verse 1] I bring my tired hands and my open heart You know every scar before I speak I’ve wandered far away still You call my name Like a steady flame You don’t let go [Pre-Chorus] So here I am, Lord quiet and undone Meet me in the dust where I began [Chorus] Draw me close again draw me close again Hold me in Your mercy draw me close again I’m coming back to You I’m coming back to You Nothing else will hold me draw me close again [Verse 2] There were days I ran from Your patient love Chasing empty cups that never filled me But Your voice was there in the lowest place Saying, “Child, come home” and I came home [Pre-Chorus] So here I am, Lord quiet and undone Meet me in the dust where I began [Chorus] Draw me close again draw me close again Hold me in Your mercy draw me close again I’m coming back to You I’m coming back to You Nothing else will hold me draw me close again [Bridge] And if my faith is small You are still enough If my strength gives out You stay the same Take this wandering soul make it Yours again I will rest in You I will rest in You [Chorus] Draw me close again draw me close again Hold me in Your mercy draw me close again I’m coming back to You I’m coming back to You Nothing else will hold me draw me close again
