You Hold My Future (Modern Worship)

[Verse 1] When the morning feels too heavy And my courage starts to fade Every fear I’ve tried to bury Comes alive and knows my name But Your mercy meets me breathing In the quiet of my shame You remind me what You promised You are God and You don’t change [Chorus] You hold my future in Your hands Every tear Every breath Every plan I’m not afraid of what I can’t see Jesus I know You’re already there for me From first light to my final stand You hold my future in Your hands [Verse 2] All the roads I broke in pieces All the years I threw away You can turn my wrecked beginnings To a story filled with grace So I’ll lay my questions down now At the cross where You were slain ‘Cause the scars that shout “It’s finished” Call me by a brand-new name [Chorus] You hold my future in Your hands Every tear Every breath Every plan I’m not afraid of what I can’t see Jesus I know You’re already there for me From first light to my final stand You hold my future in Your hands [Bridge] When I walk through fire You’re already in the flames When I step on waters You’re the one that calls my name When the night says “over” You say “child Begin again” Every step Forever You’re the start and You’re the end (oh-oh) [Chorus] You hold my future in Your hands Every tear Every breath Every plan I’m not afraid of what I can’t see Jesus I know You’re already there for me From first light to my final stand You hold my future in Your hands [Outro] All my days All my days I will trust the One who saves All my days All my days You hold my future in Your hands
