Carry the Cross (Dawn)

[Verse] I see the sun rise in the sky so bright A symbol of hope that breaks through the night With faith in my heart I won’t walk alone His love is the anchor a path to my home [Chorus] Carry the cross through the dust and rain Love in your heart will ease every pain Trust in His word to guide every mile Live by His grace and wear a strong smile [Verse 2] Mountains may rise and the rivers may flow But through it all there’s a truth I know A voice in the silence telling me to stand With Him I’m steady holding His hand [Chorus] Carry the cross through the dust and rain Love in your heart will ease every pain Trust in His word to guide every mile Live by His grace and wear a strong smile [Bridge] The world may shake but I’ll not lose my ground With every step His light will surround I’ll keep my faith strong I’ll hold on tight Through every shadow I walk to His light [Verse 3] Men with the cross are smiling so wide Their faith unbroken their fears cast aside Together in love we march to His call For with God’s power we conquer it all
