Wandering Through the Wilderness (Worship Percussion)

[Verse 1] I was wandering through the wilderness Sand in my shoes Sun in my eyes Carrying questions on my shoulders Too tired to shout Too proud to cry [Chorus] You made rivers in the hard dry ground You spoke peace into my spinning doubt When I had nothing but an empty sound You filled my mouth Hallelujah in this desert now You are the way when I’m worn out You made rivers in the hard dry ground You filled my mouth [Verse 2] Like Daniel in a lion’s den of fear Like Peter when the water pulled him down You reached into the middle of my mess Pulled me up and set my feet on solid ground [Chorus] You made rivers in the hard dry ground You spoke peace into my spinning doubt When I had nothing but an empty sound You filled my mouth Hallelujah in this desert now You are the way when I’m worn out You made rivers in the hard dry ground You filled my mouth [Bridge] When I run You are running after When I fall You are holding fast Every time I think it’s over Grace is all I have (oh-oh) [Chorus] You make rivers in the hard dry ground You speak peace into my spinning doubt When I have nothing but an empty sound You fill my mouth Hallelujah in this desert now You are the way when I’m worn out You make rivers in the hard dry ground You fill my mouth
