Wandering in the Wilderness (Gentle Acoustic)

[Verse 1] Forty days Forty nights I’m out here counting Every doubt Every sigh Sand in my shoes Silence in my throat Asking if You hear me Out past all I know [Chorus] But You rain down mercy like manna in the morning You break my hunger with one small word In the dry Dry land You are still pouring Living water I don’t deserve When I’m wandering in the wilderness You are the promise I remember [Verse 2] Walls feel high Giants tall I’m just a shepherd Staring at it all Five smooth stones Shaking in my hand You whisper “Child I’m bigger than this land” [Chorus] So You rain down mercy like manna in the morning You break my hunger with one small word In the dry Dry land You are still pouring Living water I don’t deserve When I’m wandering in the wilderness You are the promise I remember [Bridge] I was lost in the crowd You called my name Said “Come down quickly I’m coming to stay” You sit at my table Turn my shame into song (oh) Every road I’ve taken Leads back to Your arms [Chorus] ’Cause You rain down mercy like manna in the morning You break my hunger with one small word In the dry Dry land You are still pouring Living water I don’t deserve When I’m wandering in the wilderness You are the promise I remember Yes When I’m wandering in the wilderness You are the promise I remember
