The Weight He Carried (Reverent Cinematic)

[Verse 1] Through the streets of Jerusalem He walked with bleeding feet The crowd was shouting curses, the cross was hard and deep He could have called the angels, He could have walked away But love kept Him going, love made Him stay [Chorus] The weight He carried should have been mine Every sin and every scar of every time He bore it all on Calvary's hill The weight He carried, He carries still [Verse 2] They nailed Him to the timber, they pierced His holy side He prayed, forgive them, Father, and then He bowed and died The curtain tore from top to bottom, the earth began to shake And every wall between us broke for my sake [Bridge] Thank You, Jesus For the love that would not let go Thank You, Jesus Now I know [Chorus] The weight He carried should have been mine Every sin and every scar of every time He bore it all on Calvary's hill The weight He carried, He carries still
