The Veil Was Torn (Christian Worship)

[Verse 1] On the hill where mercy met the wound The innocent bore what we had done The earth held still beneath the weight As love stepped into death’s dark gate [Pre-Chorus] The holy place was closed no more Your blood became the open door [Chorus] The veil was torn, the way is clear We draw near, we draw near By Jesus’ blood, our chains release The cross has made a way for peace The grave is broken, fear is gone We rise beneath redemption’s dawn The veil was torn, our hearts restored We come alive before the Lord [Verse 2] No curtain hides the Father’s face No debt remains outside Your grace The hands once pierced now welcome me The wounded King has set me free [Pre-Chorus] What sin had sealed, Your love unbound The lost are found, the lost are found [Chorus] The veil was torn, the way is clear We draw near, we draw near By Jesus’ blood, our chains release The cross has made a way for peace The grave is broken, fear is gone We rise beneath redemption’s dawn The veil was torn, our hearts restored We come alive before the Lord [Bridge] It is finished, mercy reigns Hope has risen through the pain Death could not contain the Son Our salvation has begun [Final Chorus] The veil was torn, the way is clear We draw near, we draw near By Jesus’ blood, our chains release The cross has made a way for peace The grave is broken, fear is gone We rise beneath redemption’s dawn The veil was torn, our hearts restored We come alive before the Lord [Outro] We come alive before the Lord The veil was torn forevermore
