The Stone Is Rolled Away (Easter Resurrection)

[Verse 1] Early in the morning, while the world was still asleep The women came with spices and sorrow running deep But the ground began to tremble and an angel lit the sky He is not here, He is risen, Jesus is alive [Chorus] The stone is rolled away Death has lost its hold today Sing it loud, the King is risen Hallelujah, the stone is rolled away [Verse 2] The guards fell down like dead men, the linen folded neat The tomb is standing empty, the victory complete Now every chain is broken, now every fear is gone The Lamb who was slain is the risen Holy One [Chorus] The stone is rolled away Death has lost its hold today Sing it loud, the King is risen Hallelujah, the stone is rolled away [Bridge] Where, O death, is your sting Where, O grave, is your victory He is risen, He is risen He is risen indeed [Chorus] The stone is rolled away Death has lost its hold today Sing it loud, the King is risen Hallelujah, the stone is rolled away
