The King Has Risen (Triumphant Easter)

[Verse 1] Early in the morning, the women came to weep They found the stone rolled back, the grave no longer deep An angel shining brighter than the rising sun Said why seek the living, He is risen, He has won [Chorus] The King has risen, hallelujah Death has lost its sting tonight The King has risen, hallelujah Darkness bows before the Light Shout it to the nations Jesus is alive [Verse 2] The soldiers fell like dead men, the rulers lost their say The One they tried to bury rose on the third day Now every chain is broken, every fear has fled The firstborn of creation, risen from the dead [Chorus] The King has risen, hallelujah Death has lost its sting tonight The King has risen, hallelujah Darkness bows before the Light Shout it to the nations Jesus is alive [Bridge] O grave, where is your victory O death, where is your sting Forever and forever We crown Him Lord and King [Chorus] The King has risen, hallelujah Death has lost its sting tonight The King has risen, hallelujah Darkness bows before the Light Shout it to the nations Jesus is alive
