Teach My Heart to Trust (Reflective Prayer)

[Verse 1] I come with empty hands And a tired, worried mind The road ahead looks long But You are still kind I laid my plans in dust At the edge of the dawn [Pre-Chorus] So teach me how to breathe When my fear won't let go Teach me how to kneel When I don't know [Chorus] Teach my heart to trust Teach my heart to trust When the night feels heavy You are enough Teach my heart to trust Teach my heart to trust I will say it slowly You are enough [Verse 2] I have chased the signs And I have missed Your peace I held the broken things You asked me to release Now I bring my name And all my shaking faith [Pre-Chorus] So teach me how to wait When the tears come fast Teach me how to stay And let love last [Chorus] Teach my heart to trust Teach my heart to trust When the night feels heavy You are enough Teach my heart to trust Teach my heart to trust I will say it slowly You are enough [Bridge] I don't need to see it all To know Your hand is near I don't need the whole road Just the grace for here Quiet my rushing soul Hold me in the hush [Chorus] Teach my heart to trust Teach my heart to trust When the night feels heavy You are enough Teach my heart to trust Teach my heart to trust I will say it slowly You are enough
