Strength for Today (Christian Worship)

[Spoken Intro] He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Take courage. [Verse 1] When heavy mountains block the view, And weary feet begin to tire, Your grace supplies what is undone, And lights a sacred, holy fire. [Spoken Interlude] Lean entirely on His everlasting arms. He will carry you through today. [Chorus] Strength for today, hope for this hour, Held in Your mercy, kept by Your power. When I am struggling, You stay beside me, Faithful and near, You will guide me. [Verse 2] When morning asks for more than I can give, And quiet fears crowd every thought, You meet me here with daily bread, And teach my heart to trust Your love. [Chorus] Strength for today, hope for this hour, Held in Your mercy, kept by Your power. When I am struggling, You stay beside me, Faithful and near, You will guide me. [Bridge] One step, then another, Your hand steady in mine. I don't have to carry tomorrow; Your grace will meet me in time. [Final Chorus] Strength for today, hope for this hour, Held in Your mercy, kept by Your power. When I am struggling, You stay beside me, Faithful and near, You will guide me. [Spoken Outro] You are not alone. His strength is enough for today.
