Stairway to Heaven's Path (Dawn)

[Verse] There's a stairway to heaven leading to the light Each step of the journey makes my soul take flight With faith as my lantern I climb free of fear On this stairway to heaven God feels so near [Verse 2] Hear the angels calling on this sacred stairway Every footfall whispers love won't fade away The trials below can't hold me in their tether I'm climbing the stairway to heaven forever [Chorus] Oh the stairway to heaven stretching to the skies Through the clouds of glory where the promise lies Each rung is a prayer each step I endeavor On this stairway to heaven I'll rise forever [Bridge] Sometimes the winds blow hard I tremble and sway But the stairway to heaven says don't drift away With grace as my anchor my heart stays true On this stairway to heaven God's love pulls me through [Verse 3] The golden gates shimmer at the journey's crest On the stairway to heaven I will find my rest No more tears no sorrow no fear to sever The joy awaiting on the stairway to heaven forever [Chorus] Oh the stairway to heaven stretching to the skies Through the clouds of glory where the promise lies Each rung is a prayer each step I endeavor On this stairway to heaven I'll rise forever
