River in the Dust (Worship Band)

[Verse 1] I was walking through the river in the dust Dry mouth Cracked hands Heart full of rust Then I heard a voice Quiet like a friend “Child This wilderness is not the end” [Chorus] You make water in the wasteland Hope grow from the sand You write mercy on my footsteps Hold my whole life in Your hand When I’m faithless You are faithful You remember I am dust You are shelter You are Savior You make rivers in the dust (oh yes You do) [Verse 2] I have stumbled like Your wandering sons Built my little towers Tried to outrun Your love Still Your kindness chased me through my shame Met me on the road and called my name [Chorus] You make water in the wasteland Hope grow from the sand You write mercy on my footsteps Hold my whole life in Your hand When I’m faithless You are faithful You remember I am dust You are shelter You are Savior You make rivers in the dust (rivers in the dust)
