Open The Floodgates (Contemporary Worship)

[Verse 1] I came in with a thousand weights Hands full of broken yesterday You met me by the edge of the road And called me home My chest was a locked-up room You touched it and made it bloom Like rain on a desert floor I want You more [Pre-Chorus] So take this heart Take all I have I’m not holding back I’m not holding back [Chorus] Open the floodgates Open the floodgates Your love comes rushing in Your love comes rushing in Open the floodgates Open the floodgates I was made for this I was made for this [Verse 2] When the fear says stay low You say child, let it go I’ve been hiding in my shame But You know my name Every scar tells the truth You are good, You pull me through Even now I’m singing loud You lift me out [Pre-Chorus] So take this heart Take all I have I’m not holding back I’m not holding back [Chorus] Open the floodgates Open the floodgates Your love comes rushing in Your love comes rushing in Open the floodgates Open the floodgates I was made for this I was made for this [Bridge] Let the old walls fall Let the old walls fall You are here, You are here You are here with me Every chain break now Every chain break now You are here, You are here You are here with me [Final Chorus] Open the floodgates Open the floodgates Your love comes rushing in Your love comes rushing in Open the floodgates Open the floodgates I was made for this I was made for this Open the floodgates Open the floodgates My whole life says amen My whole life says amen
