Open The Book (Contemporary Gospel)

[Verse 1] I was low in the dust Hands full of my own mess Then I heard that old truth Calling me to stand up You still speak in the storm You still reach for the lost Every line in the page Feels like a rope when I’m gone [Pre-Chorus] So I’m opening it now Right here, right now Let Your word hit hard Let it wake me up [Chorus] Open the Book Open the Book Your word still heals me Open the Book Open the Book Jesus, You’re enough [Verse 2] When my heart starts to run And my mind starts to race I remember Your name Written bright through the ache Moses saw the sea split David faced that giant If You did it then You can do it again [Pre-Chorus] So I’m opening it now Right here, right now Let Your word hit hard Let it wake me up [Chorus] Open the Book Open the Book Your word still heals me Open the Book Open the Book Jesus, You’re enough [Bridge] Speak, Lord, I’m listening Write it on my bones Grace over my fear Truth that brings me home One word from Heaven And the dry bones rise One word from Heaven And I come alive [Final Chorus] Open the Book Open the Book Your word still heals me Open the Book Open the Book Jesus, You’re enough Open the Book Open the Book I was lost, now I’m free Open the Book Open the Book Your word is alive in me
