Morning of the Risen King (Easter Worship)

[Verse 1] The guards were shaking at the tomb, the earth began to quake An angel rolled the stone aside, the dawn began to break The linen folded neatly where the body used to be The Lord of life has conquered death for you and me [Chorus] Sing it out on the morning of the risen King Let the whole creation shout and ring Death is beaten, grave is torn Jesus lives this Easter morn [Verse 2] Mary heard Him speak her name, she knew her Master's voice The disciples ran to see, their hearts could only rejoice Now every fear is broken and every chain is gone The King is alive and we are carried on [Bridge] He's alive, He's alive Lift your voice to the sky He's alive, He's alive Jesus Christ is alive [Chorus] Sing it out on the morning of the risen King Let the whole creation shout and ring Death is beaten, grave is torn Jesus lives this Easter morn
