God Is Our Refuge (Dawn)

[Verse] God is our refuge mighty and strong No need for fear when troubles throng Mountains may fall seas may roar In his embrace we're forever sure [Verse 2] Be still and know his power reigns Earth quakes wars erupt yet he remains Rivers bring joy nations are glad His sanctuary makes our hearts clad [Chorus] God above every storm and quake Our hiding place when we shake In his strength we'll always abide In his wisdom we confide [Verse 3] Morning dawns he shatters the night Rescue shines with dawn's first light Our fortress our rock in every test Safeguard shelter with peace we're blessed [Bridge] Nations rage kingdoms fall Yet his voice stands above it all Bow and spear broken cease God's promise everlasting peace [Chorus] God above every storm and quake Our hiding place when we shake In his strength we'll always abide In his wisdom we confide
