Friend of Sinners (Uplifting Christian)

[Verse 1] You found me where the proud walked by With empty hands and lowered eyes You spoke my name, You stayed nearby And mercy met me in Your eyes [Pre-Chorus] The wounded came, the outcast drew near Your kindness silenced every fear [Chorus] Jesus, Friend of sinners Hope for the broken heart You gather the rejected And never turn them far By Your blood forgiven By Your grace made new Jesus, Friend of sinners My heart belongs to You [Verse 2] You touched the lives that no one touched You bore the shame that weighed so much Upon the cross, Love paid the cost The lost were found, the broken healed [Pre-Chorus] No scar too deep, no soul too far Your mercy reaches where we are [Chorus] Jesus, Friend of sinners Hope for the broken heart You gather the rejected And never turn them far By Your blood forgiven By Your grace made new Jesus, Friend of sinners My heart belongs to You [Bridge] At Calvary, compassion flowed The debt was paid, the stone was rolled Now every tear and every chain Can meet the power of Your name [Choir] Welcome home, welcome home Mercy calls the weary home Welcome home, welcome home Christ has overcome [Final Chorus] Jesus, Friend of sinners Hope for the broken heart You gather the rejected And never turn them far By Your blood forgiven By Your grace made new Jesus, Friend of sinners All my praise belongs to You [Outro] All my praise belongs to You Jesus, Friend of sinners
