Dust on My Sandals (Acoustic Worship)

[Verse 1] I got dust on my sandals From the roads I chose myself Every shortcut Every shadow Led me further from Your help [Pre-Chorus] But Your mercy found my footprints In the dirt where I had slipped You were walking there beside me Even when I turned and dipped [Chorus] Jesus You still call my name Through the ruin Through the shame You rewrite my broken days With Your wild and wondrous grace I was running You still ran Placed a welcome in my hands Every step on shifting sand You are steady You are steady where I stand [Verse 2] I brought questions I brought weakness You brought water for my thirst I brought pride dressed up as wisdom You brought love that saw me first [Chorus] Jesus You still call my name Through the ruin Through the shame You rewrite my broken days With Your wild and wondrous grace I was running You still ran Placed a welcome in my hands Every step on shifting sand You are steady You are steady where I stand
