Desert Manna (Worship Gentle)

[Verse 1] I woke up in a wandering place Dust on my shoes Doubt in my chest Carried my questions like heavy stones So sure that You’d be tired of this mess [Chorus] But You rain down mercy like desert manna Every morning Brand new table for my hunger I keep running out You keep running over Bread in the sand Water from the thunder You rain down mercy like desert manna [Verse 2] I’ve tried building my own storehouse Stacked my fear up Called it “being wise” Still Your kindness keeps on breaking in Like sunlight I can’t hide from my eyes [Chorus] ’Cause You rain down mercy like desert manna Every morning Brand new table for my hunger I keep running out You keep running over Bread in the sand Water from the thunder You rain down mercy like desert manna [Bridge] If You feed the birds If You paint the fields Then this restless heart Can finally heal (oh yeah) Teach me to gather Just for today Hands wide open Let the worry fade [Chorus] You rain down mercy like desert manna Every morning Brand new table for my hunger I keep running out You keep running over Bread in the sand Water from the thunder You rain down mercy like desert manna Yeah You rain down mercy like desert manna
