Crown of Thorns (Dawn)

[Verse] A heavy crown of thorns they made him wear Piercing pain but he chose to care Every thorn a weight that our hearts bear A love so pure beyond compare [Chorus] Thorns on his brow yet light shines bright A sacrifice to turn our wrongs to right In the woven thorns his grace ignites A Savior’s love through the darkest night [Verse 2] Thorns that cut through the silence deep He bore them all while the heavens weep From thorn to thorn a promise to keep His mercy waking us from sin’s sleep [Bridge] The thorns of hate couldn’t make him fall Through the crown he forgave us all Every thorn a sign of a sacred call A thorny path to rise from the squall [Chorus] Thorns on his brow yet light shines bright A sacrifice to turn our wrongs to right In the woven thorns his grace ignites A Savior’s love through the darkest night [Verse 3] Thorns in the crown but the victory’s sweet Redeeming love at the sinner’s feet No thorn could conquer no force compete He makes the broken whole and complete
