About this book
William Carey was discouraged by the lack of interest in foreign missions among the church and wrote this book in an attempt to wake up the church to the importance of missions. He shows the Biblical basis for missions, traces the history of missions, demonstrates the needs around the world, considers the obstacles to missions, and lays out a practical strategy for how missions could look. - Summary by Aletheia Charis
